Change Launch Button

To change the Icon on the Launch button,

  • Edit the file /etc/kde3/kickerrc
  • Open the file with a Text editor and scroll to the section labeled [KMenu]
  • Change the entry for KButtonIcon. flaunch is the default
  • To remove the text "Launch" from the button, change the value ShowText = true to ShowText = false
  • The button tile is KButtonTile, the tiles are in /usr/share/apps/kicker/tiles

Changes will be effective after a quick restart.
