Freespire Bugzilla server is Live for bug tracking. If you aren't sure if the behavior you are seeing is indeed a bug you should start a post in the Freespire Forum first to discuss it with other users and review here. Once you have determined that what you are seeing is indeed a bug that can be reproduced you should submit a bug to Bugzilla.
Also, before submitting a bug, please check the Release Notes to see if the problem you are encountering is already a known issue with Freespire 2.0 Alpha and being worked on. Also remember to update your bug reports after new releases. If the bug has been resolved, pls. update Bugzilla. If the bug still exists, add the current Freespire/CNR version to your Bugzilla report.

When I clicked on the Backtrace tab, it said “This backtrace appears to be of no use.”

Both orinoco_pci and hostap_pci modules load, which matches what happens in my Debian installation, but in my Debian installation the orinoco_pci driver somehow manages to work. Wireless card lspci 00:0c.0 Network controller: Intersil Corporation Prism 2.5 Wavelan chipset (rev 01), lspci -n 00:0c.0 0280: 1260:3873 (rev 01) EDIT: prism2_pci also tries to load. After renaming hostap_pci and prism2_pci wireless works as expected with orinoco_pci. diagnostic-report-2006.12.03-15.09.54 EDIT 2: If I use hostap_pci and rename the other 2 modules this also works.

SOLVED
New big bad bug. Should be easy to fix.
Ok I don't know how many of you have figured this out yet but any version of Freespire or Linspire will not load or install on a computer that has only one IDE connection on the motherboard and the rest are SATA. The reason is that it does not look on the pirmary IDE for the CD DVD drive it only knows to look other places. This needs to be fixed fast! Can someone please do something about it for my sanity. Thanks.
