Content for the Freespire Community
There are many avenues for disseminating information supporting the Freespire Community following the Community Code of Conduct. This wiki, the Community Forums, the Freespire User and Developer Discussion Lists, the Freespire IRC channel and the Bug Reporting system are the main tools.
- Freespire Community wiki - the core of Freespire knowledge. Content created here is more static in nature, but continual improvement is desired.
- Freespire Community Forums - free flowing discussion about any Freespire topic. Content created is more dynamic in nature; therefore, solutions derived in the forums should be migrated to the appropriate wiki page.
- Freespire User Discussion List - mailing list used to manage certain content (nomination process, Committee discussions) targeting discussion to meet a certain task. Created content is archived, but searching can be difficult.
- Freespire Developer Discussion List - mailing list used for codifying ideas about the code/packages.
- Freespire Internet Relay Chat (IRC) Channel - real-time discussions and problem solving. Content created is more volatile / not archived.
- Freespire Bug Reporting System - designed to track and provide collaboration on problems with the OS or products.
