Installation

This hint is for installing the eagle us modem linux driver modules in freespire 1.0.13

1. Download the packages first by issuing the following commands

Click start then run command then type konsole and hit enter.

a. Now type wget http://www.elinuxstop.com/support_center/Downloads/Drivers/Networking/eagle-usb-modem/eagle-usb-data_2.3.2-2_all.deb

b. wget http://www.elinuxstop.com/support_center/Downloads/Drivers/Networking/eagle-usb-modem/eagle-usb-modules-source_2.3.2-2_all.deb

c. wget http://www.elinuxstop.com/support_center/Downloads/Drivers/Networking/eagle-usb-modem/eagle-usb-utils_2.3.2-2_i386.deb

2. Now install each package

In konsole type the following 3 commands

a. sudo dpkg -i eagle-usb-data_2.3.2-2_all.deb

b. sudo dpkg -i eagle-usb-modules-source_2.3.2-2_all.deb

c. sudo dpkg -i eagle-usb-utils_2.3.2-2_i386.deb

Once the eagle-usb-utils package installs itll bring up some on screen prompts for configuration! Once you go throught those filling in the needed values your modem should work!
