When installed or even during the live evaluation, Freespire/Linspire will detect and install drivers for your network cards (yes, even your wireless cards).
Now for your Freespire/Linspire computer to communicate on a network, it must have a unique IP address. In most situations, this address is given automatically in most companies and institutions and, at home, if your computers are connected through a router.
