If you would like to give Freespire Linux a try without installing on your computer, you've come to the right place. Freespire Live! is a great way to test your hardware and peripherals for compatibility before installing Freespire. Follow these simple guidelines and experience the best of both worlds with no risk! When you have finished evaluating freespire you can install it, continue to run live!, or remove the CD to resume your normal operations.

Procedure

  1. Download Freespire
  2. Make a Freespire CD
  3. Place the Freespire CD into your computer.
  4. Reboot the computer.(Sometimes it is necessary to set the PC to boot from the cd-rom/dvd-rom(from the bios)
  5. Use your arrow keys to highlight RUN Freespire directly from the CD without installing (FreespireLive!) and hit Enter.


FreespireLive! will now boot and demonstrate the full power of Linux. If you like what you see Install Freespire. Enjoy!
