There are quit a few de/wm on offer via CnR/apt. Most are straight forward to install & set up. Some are a bit more involved and might not be complete. Most are not the most current on offer either, but the option to install newer versions from source is also accepted. In addition, if someone would like to offer deb packages they have created, accommodations can be arranged to make them available to the community at large. That said, lets see what is on offer.

Enlightenment DR-17.

Thanks to coolcheeze there is a deb package to install e-17.

Step 1. Add the following to your /etc/apt/sources.lst file; deb http://www.arcanelinux.org/~cheeze/freespire binary/

Step 2. Then pin the repository with "sudo touch /etc/apt/preferences"

Step 3. Add the following to that file,

      Package: enlightenment
      Pin: origin www.arcanelinux.org
      Pin-Priority: 1001

Step 4. Then from a console;

      sudo apt-get update
      sudo apt-get install enlightenment
      sudo apt-get install eutils

Step 5. Last, add an ".xsession" file to your home folder with this line in it,

      exec enlightenment

The next time you boot into said user Enlightenment DR-17 should be running.
